 Nashville Fats | like Jake & Elwood, Fats was on a mission from God I first met Fats & Betsy (his wife) in 1999 and in a matter of days we became lifelong friends. Fats brought a rare ingredient to his music - raw emotion. Fats was the stage name of Peter Thorpe. Peter left this world in 2002 but his legacy lives on in both his songs and his deeds. Checkout Nashville Fats web site, listen to his songs, and you too will be impressed.Then surf over to the Peter Thorpe Memorial Fund and see how you can help. On a side note Fats is very much responsible for Qube5.com moving from the drawing board to the Internet. Betsy contacted me in October of 2000 to see if I could correct some outdated pages on their old site (they could no longer locate the author). This was the final motivation I needed to acquire the Qube5 domain. I told Betsy if she was willing to work with me on the layout, I would create a shiny new site and host it for them.  The results are now history. I'm proud to say that Fats' site is the first complete web design to come out of StringStudios (hopefully it won't be the last).

 bLogically Speaking | Like a wooly mastodon knee deep in a tar pit I find myself slowing sinking into the blog...sorry stupid metaphor, but I am blogging these days. Take a warped sense of humor, blend in a healthy dose of Vulcan logic, Mosaic law, and horse sense. Stir well and then chunk some hot potatoes into it along with a bag of 8-track tapes and throughly cook it on a transmitter from an undergound FM radio station. After it ages a while stick it in front of the computer until it starts moving. Not sure what I have created but I call it "bLogically Speaking". Remember the Internet was created so we could waste time. I´m doing my part, are you? | |
